White sugar facial scrub

Facial scrub

Facial scrubs are used as gentle exfoliants to get rid of dead skin cells on the face. The down side of using a facial scrub is that it can make any pimples look sore and red after you use the scrub (particularly if you work at that pimple).

Here is a very gentle facial scrub recipe that may work.  If you have sensitive skin, you might like to think twice about it, but if you are keen to try this then follow up the scrub with either the green grape or the avocado masque. These will soothe your skin properly after it has been scrubbed.

  • -3 tablespoons white sugar (caster sugar would be best – the finer the granules, the more gentle the scrub will be on the skin)
  • -2 tablespoons of water.

Apply the scrub, gently, with your fingertips. Wash off with lukewarm water and pat dry.
